The center covers 307,700 square feet of total meeting space. 1) Cascade Land Conservancy - 16th Annual Conservation Awards Breakfast

Sixteenth Annual Conservation Awards Breakfast will kick off on May 12, 2011. The event is to commemorate and celebrate local heroes of conservation, stewardship and community building. During that time, over 1,800 guests from civic, elected, business and environment leaders will get together to support Cascade Land Conservancy.

Lasting about 90 minutes, the event starts from 7:30am to 9am. There is no cost to attend this event. However, you are required to contribute a gift that is meaningful to you. Suggested donation is $200. For more info, visit this page:

2) Pokemon VGC (Video Game Championship)

Are you an aficionado of Pokemon video game? Come to Washington State Convention Center to compete in the first round of the 2011 Pokemon VGC on May 14, 2011. Regional Pokemon video game players will gather at the center on that day. Players are required to be present on the morning of the event to register for a competitor slot. 3) GAS: 41st Annual Conference

The GAS is an annual opportunity to witness and take part in what is happening with many aspects of the medium. Its 41st conference will be held at the Washington State Convention Center from June 2 to 4, 2011. The conference is jam-packed with lectures, panels, demonstrations, opening ceremony, closing party, gallery hop and other events.
