Wallingford, Seattle is a popular residential community in Seattle. This area also plays host to a lot of business and commercial establishments, as well as educational institutions like the Ballard High School and Roosevelt High School. Wallingford also has the Good Shepherd Center, a former Roman Catholic home for girls, which is now turned into a community center.

The Gas Works Park, a former coal gasification plant, which is now turned into a natural preserve, is one of the neighborhood's biggest draws. The area's parks also include the 90-acre Woodland Park, and the nearby Green Lake Park, a former glacial lake. Other draws for tourists and travelers include food festivals, such as the Wallington Wurst Festival and the "What's Cooking in Wallingford?" Family fireworks are also featured as well in the annual Fourth of July celebration.
