From the main floor of the center house the guest can see the large open space which is a part of the Children's Museum. The Children's Museum is located in 22,000 square feet of landscape.

The Children's Museum is the interactive museum with hands on exhibits which offers fun and education for the children from the age of 1 to ten. The children's are allowed to interact and explore the permanent exhibits of the museum. The hours of the museum are: from 10am to 5pm from Monday through Friday and in Saturdays and Sundays the museum will be open from 10am to 6pm. But the admission will be closed at 5pm in Saturdays and Sundays. The admission fee for the Children's Museum of Seattle Center is: $7.50 for adults and children and $6.50 for the senior citizens. The children under the age of 1 are admitted free to the Children's Museum. There are group packages in the museum and the fee for group package is $6 for a group of ten plus guests of any age.

The activities and programs of the Children's Museum are classified into three divisions as Permanent exhibits, traveling exhibits, and Daily programming.
