Upcoming Movies and Special Events Performing at Seattle Cinerama Theatre

Experience the magic of cinema at the Cinerama Theater in Belltown district of Seattle, USA. It is a leading movie theater in the city which is reopening in a new avatar with 3D facilities to enhance the magic of cine viewing. However, the theater already contains two mega screens with 808 seats.

The first screen is 30 feet in height and 90 feet in length providing the unique facility of viewing the screen from anywhere inside the hall. The small or the second screen is a temporary one that can be dismantled during special occasions. The theater also plays host to the Short Film Festival of Science Fiction Fantasy. Cinerama is also among those few theaters which can play the authentic Cinerama films.

Special events at Cinerama include screening of short and feature films during the African American Film Festival that takes place annually. The opening night show is held at Cinerama. Other film festivals held at Cinerama include Seattle International Film Festival, Human Rights Film Festival of Seattle and the Talented Youth National Film Festival. Certain community events are also held in the theater. At Cinerama, you can also expect to watch the classic films in new hi-tech prints.

You will be able to watch the latest of blockbusters after the theater reopens in November this year subsequent to installing advanced facilities for film watching. For the next two months, no new movie is releasing since the theater will be closed. Certain film festivals are also in the pipeline as soon as it opens.
