The Wave Hounds Surf Shop first opened in the year June, 2005 and it is growing since that time. This shop offers close to 200 surfboards in its stock which you can choose from. The shop actually stocks a mix of old and new surfboards. The shop also accepts custom orders for many brands of surfboards.

The Seattle Community College's Central Campus is also known as The Seattle Central Community College. It is one of the three colleges that are located in the Seattle Community College District.

In 1970, the North Seattle Community College and South Seattle Community College became functional. Both one year and two year degree courses are offered by the central campus of the Community College.
