There are different transportation modes available in order to reach the USCG base. These are:

1. Shuttle Express share vans are available that provide you transportation from the airport to your hotel as a share ride:

2. There is another mode of transportation that is available that is, Metro Bus 194. This runs from the SeaTac Airport Baggage Claim area to the downtown Seattle and it drops you at a place which is only a short distance from the USCG base and from any of the two hotels:

The Avian Radar System was first implemented in the Sea-Tac Airport in the year 2007. The Avian Radar system of the airport provides 24-hour monitoring of the wildlife activity across the airfield.

In order to reduce some of the fatal accidents in Seattle, the pilot program was designed. This program also aimed at reducing those accidents that involved avian collisions. This program also provided a base for the implementation of a technology in the US which was actually expected to start in the year 2009. This technology was actually a part of one of the multi-pronged strategies that was aimed to primarily reduce the presence of wildlife on the airfield.
