The motion pictures which were made for the first time in Seattle were some of the documentary views. These include Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition, the Nome Gold Rush, and the Denny Regrade. The first Hollywood feature that was made in Seattle and which was also about Seattle was Tugboat Annie. This feature was set in the imaginary port of 'Secoma'.
