Seattle has a hilly topography. There are seven hills on which Seattle is located. These include Capitol Hill, First Hill, West Seattle, Beacon Hill, Denny Hill and Queen Anne. Seattle forms the part of the Puget Sound region. To the west of Puget Sound are the Kitsap and the Olympic peninsulas along with the Olympic Mountains. Towards the eastern direction are the Cascade Range and Lake Sammarish. There are lush green forests and there are different water bodies. There are also different hunting and gathering communities in Seattle.
