Summer Colleges are actually a partnership between the Seattle Public Schools, the Seattle Community College District and the City of Seattle. These colleges provide opportunity to the students and they can gain experience on a community college campus.

Through these colleges, the students can earn credits towards high school graduation and they can also accelerate the student achievement through curriculum focused on meeting standards on the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL).These programs are located on three community college campuses - South Seattle, Central, and North Seattle.
