Seattle Parks and Recreation has partnered with the Associated Research Council (ARC) in order to offer several recreational as well as lifelong learning programs, classes and activities to different citizens throughout Seattle. There are citizen volunteers who are on the board and the advisory councils of ARC help to enhance the mission and vision of Seattle Parks:

The rules related to sales and distribution of goods are encompassed as a part of the Commercial law. The law is also related to the procedures for payments in such transactions.

In 1952, the uniform Commercial Code was published for the first time. However, several revisions have been done after that and some of the new articles have also been added.

There is also a research guide in place which lists some of the major sources of law in the area and a variety of tools for the researcher to use when confronted with a commercial law issue.
