Public Records Disclosure in Seattle

All non-exempt records of the Legislative Department, which includes the Office of the City Clerk and the Seattle City Council, are available for review and copying in the City Clerk's Research Room.

These records can be accessed from Monday through Friday between 8 AM to 4:45 PM excluding the different legal holidays.

Requests to review or copy Legislative Department's public records should be made in writing on the Legislative Department's request form, attached below, by letter, fax, or email.

The following information needs to be included:

- Name, address, telephone and or email address of the requestor

- Sufficient information to identify the public record

- Date of the request
