
Neighborhoods in the Central Seattle and Downtown
There are several neighborhoods in the central Seattle Area and in Downtown. These include:
- Magnolia: It may be described as a hilly peninsula. The prime attractions of this neighborhood of Seattle are the Discovery Park with its wild and marine life. Most people visit this neighborhood in order to enjoy some of the serene beaches of Discovery Park.
- Fishermen's Terminal: This is located in the Interbay Region between Magnolia and Queen Ann. It is located along the Salmon Bay.
- Queen Ann: It may be described as the highest of the seven hills of Seattle. This neighborhood has been named after its famous architectural style. Most part of this area is residential. The area is close to Space Needle and Space Center.
- The Capitol Hill: This area is located in the center of the Seattle city and there are several clubs, shopping places, coffeehouses, theatres, etc.
- Cascade: It is a small neighborhood in the city of Seattle. It surrounds the Lake Union and you may be able to find several fishing boats and houseboats.
- Downtown: The area is showing growth in the number of residences and it also have headquarters of several international companies.
