
Highway 99 of Pacific Highway - the North-South Route in Seattle
The other name that has been given to Highway 99 is the Pacific Highway. In fact it was officially named as Pacific highway itself when it was created in the year 1926.

The highway connects Blaine to Los Angeles. It was the prime north-south route for the Washington state till the time Interstate-5 was created. The highway runs over various locations including Alaskan Way Viaduct, Battery Street Tunnel, and Aurora Bridge.
