
Disability Services at Seattle University
The disability services at Seattle University aim at building a community in which students with disabilities are able to participate fully in all aspects of university life. This is accomplished by:
- Appropriate identification and implementation of the accommodations.
- The support services are provided in coherence with the students and the faculty members.
- The objective is to also educate the Seattle University community about the disabilities.
There is a disabilities services component of the learning center. This aims at offering resources and services which are aimed at both students as well as teachers:
- Focus is on extending information on learning, physical, psychological disabilities.
- Process of documenting a disability and on making academic adjustments accordingly.
- Inclusive teaching methods to be propagated.
