You are not charged for the inspection of public records in Seattle. Public records are available in the form of CDs and these CDs are available at a rate of USD 5 each. You can also get black and white copies at 15 cents per side. The mailing charges that you will be charged will also include the charges for shipping container as well as postage. The large requests for public records are however charged by the Legislative department. For these requests, a deposit may also be required to be made. The copies of such records may be provided by the department in installments.
