The location of this beach can be described as being on both the sides of the West Point Wastewater Treatment plant.

The southern part of this beach is extremely sandy. In fact, the southern beach is so sandy that sand is forms a thick layer of almost 6 feet on the cobbles that are present on the shore of the beach. The northern beach is definitely steeper and is composed of mainly cobbles and gravel.
