Guide to Seattle Waterfront Restaurants
Seattle is considered a city on the water, not for the Puget Sound alone, but for the numerous waterways and lakes as well. When you fancy a dinner rendezvous on the waters, the Seattle Water front restaurants offer just that.
Palisade Restaurant
The location of Palisade is around the harbour, but miles away from Downtown Seattle. You walk over a 50 foot bridge crossing a massive indoor pool to reach the restaurant. The dining area is resplendent with views of the water across.
This is a moderately priced placed with adequate parking facilities. Dinner is served all seven nights of the week. The restaurant is open for lunch on week days and brunch on Sundays. On Saturdays there will be no mid day meal service though.

Ray's Boathouse
Located on the Shilshole Bay, close to the locks, Ray's Boathouse offers one of the most wonderful Seattle Waterfront dining opportunities. Ideally, you should be visiting the locks as the sun sets and then travel the few miles to Ray's for the dinner on the waters. During summer you can also opt for the upstairs cafe for dining. The menu at Ray's focuses on sea food and the prices are moderate. Adequate parking is provided right in front of the restaurant. An entree in the restaurant will cost you about $30, while in the cafe, you will be paying in the teens.
