Seattle PI - Explore Online to Get the City at Your Fingertip

The Seattle PI (Post-Intelligencer) is a major online daily newspaper that is headquartered in Seattle. Founded in 1863 and currently owned and managed by the Hearst Corporation, the newspaper earlier had its print edition. However, since 2009, it runs only its online edition.

The online daily covers a broad spectrum of news and events including local news, national news and features, politics, business and economy, wildlife, crime, lifestyle and entertainment as well as sports. Seattle PI has also become a favorite topic in journalism and new media schools as it has become one of the finest examples of how one of the largest print dailies can cease its publications and successfully transform itself into an online newspaper.
