Metro System
The metro services is working on ways of reducing the number of stops that are made by Route 7 buses as it works to provide reliable services to the travelers in the region. It has been noted that the route is quite a long one and thus there is need to streamline route 7 and to make sure that the route has been made shorter.
Moreover, there is the need to improve schedule reliability so that it will be easier for the metro service to add amenities such as benches, shelters and lighting in the route and the remaining bus stop in order to serve many people.
It is thus advisable for travelers plying the route to look at Seattle travel information in order to make informed choices when it comes to choosing a route to use en-route to their preferred destination. Many of the stops on route 7 are close to each other and are barely one to two blocks away and the moderate distance between stops is approximately 800 feet.

Seattle, WA travel will be more enjoyable once the bus stop spacing project is finally completed and thus the route 7 would be some distance apart of about three to four blocks apart and the distance would be increased from 800 to 1200 feet between one stop to the other. There are other changes which are being planned for southeast Seattle therefore by streamlining route 7 will support these changes. The main aim for making these changes is to connect neighborhood and link them to light rail stations so that there is no duplication of services between metro and sound transit bus services.
