Pacific Science Center
Travelers will usually find the Pacific Science Center in Seattle Travel Guides. It is located close to the Space Needle, and next to the Seattle Center. It was built in the United States Science Pavilion for the Century 21 Exposition in 1962. It was Minoru Yamasaki, the same architect for World Trade Center in New York who designed the complex.
When you travel in Seattle Washington, you will come across some of the exhibits at the Pacific Science Center are the Tropical Butterfly House, Insect Village, the Puget Sound Model and the Saltwater Tide Pool. At the Tropical Butterfly House, the temperatures are constantly in the 80s and the humidity is about 70%. The year round full spectrum lighting keeps the butterflies and plants healthy. You can even see a butterfly emerging from a cocoon in the chrysalis viewing window.
On the Insect Village, there are live animal displays and interactive exhibits which give you a closer look at the world of anthropods and other insects. Explore science and life of northwest Washington's ecologically diverse and big estuary, the Puget Sound. Watch currents and real tide in action at the 100-square-foot scale model of the Puget Sound. Touch the living animals in the saltwater tide pool

Other than the unique exhibits shows at the Pacific Science Center, members also get free planetarium and matinee laser show tickets. The passes can also be used by a guest as long as the guest pass has been redeemed. Members are required to get a ticket before the show to get a seat.
The Pacific Science Center also has the Adventures in 3Dimensions exhibit which showcases artists creating realistic 3D images using only a paint and canvas. This exhibition also explores how our eyes and brain operate together to work in a three dimensional world.
