Tip 3 - Puget sound is a famous phrase associated with Seattle's Elliot Bay waterfront where creatures are found living above and below the water level. The Seattle aquarium too draws hordes of crowd. Catch some of the oldest shops in Seattle at the waterfront.

Tip 4 - Do you want to see clouded leopard, gorillas, birds, lions and some other exotic animals then move to the Seattle Woodland Park Zoo. The Pumpkin Prowl and some other summer special concerts are it special attraction apart from a beautiful rose garden at the south end of the zoo.

Tip 5 - Want to get a taste of Seattle's nightlife then don't forget to be at the Pioneer Square. It is known for live music band performances at night and in the day it is known for its art exhibitions and galleries.

The Seattle Pacific University (SPU) was founded by the Free Methodist Church and offers world class courses in sciences, liberal arts and professions. Member of the Christian College Consortium, the SPU has a campus spread over 43 acres at the Queen Anne Hill. Famous alumni of the SPU include Jake DeShazer, Edward Dillery, and Bob Funk.

The main schools and colleges within the SPU are the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business and Administration, School of Education, School of Health Sciences, School of Psychology, Family and Community, and School of Theology. The university enrolls approximately 4000 students every year and offers a diverse cultural experience along with comprehensive educations. The SPU has a comprehensive student program structure which includes student leadership programs, commuter programs and family weekends.

The admissions to the SPU are handled through a common admission application. The application forms are available online and there is a $45 non refundable fee attached to it. The SPU offers scholarships, loans, grants, and employment opportunities to underprivileged students. For students who want to apply for financial aid need to route their admission forms through the Student Financial Services. However please note that the students applying for the media courses are not eligible for financial aid.

The PSU offers wide opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities. The Men's Varsity Athletics include basketball, cross country, rowing, soccer, and track and field. The Women's Varsity Athletics include basket ball, volleyball, gymnastics, rowing, and cross country. Sports events are held all through the year.
