Information about Lincoln Park in Seattle WA
Seattle can rightfully be called the Park City. (Of course, it is known by an altogether different name of the Emerald City!) But the large number of parks here (occupying nearly 11% of the total area) and the pride that residents take in them can actually make parks the official mascot. Nearly every major hotel in Seattle is located in and around some or the other park and some of them are must see places precisely because of this feature. But you haven't seen a park till you've seen the Lincoln Park!
For first hand information about Lincoln Park, one of the first places I would recommend is Wikipedia. Although the information present here is brief, it provides all relevant details. The best part about Wikipedia is that it is user generated. So if there is some interesting bit of information that isn't there, maybe you could just put it in!

The Seattle State Government website that deals with Parks has a page devoted exclusively to Lincoln Park. Here, there is a lot more information available. For instance, did you know that before being re-christened Lincoln Park, it was actually called the Fauntleroy Park? Now that would not have made a memorable name right? Or would it? You can also find a lot of information about activities you can indulge in here.
