Fun with Music in Science Fiction Museum Seattle - A Rock 'n' Roll Museum
Located on the north of downtown Seattle, The Science Fiction Museum in Seattle is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the city where you can experience all the wonders straight out of a science fiction. The idea behind this museum is to promote the knowledge of science fiction books, films, paintings, television programs and other creative works among the visitors.
At the museum's auditorium, known as the Science Fiction Hall of Fame, the museum hosts several events to invite and commemorate the noted science fiction writers, publishers, artists and filmmakers from across the U.S.
It is also referred to as the Rock 'n' Roll Museum because it houses the Experience Music Project in the same museum campus and you do need a separate ticket to enter this center. This musical center is designed to promote American pop and rock n roll, and is a landmark center of the Science Fiction museum.
After exploring the science fiction exhibits, you can straight away head to the Experience Music Project. It is here that you can record your CD and enjoy the various musical exhibits and even meet up musical personalities.
The Science Fiction Museum is open for public viewing throughout the year, except for Christmas and Thanksgiving days. Do not be in a hurry to finish the trip because you would end up seeing nothing. You would need at least 2-3 hours to have a complete view of the museum. If you have grown-up children, they will simply enjoy every bit of the stadium, but young kids may get bored.
