Ravenna Park

The Ravenna Park together with the Cowen Park encompasses one contiguous green space for recreation in the area of Ravenna. These two parks have a deep ravine that goes all the way down to 115 feet. This is where the Ravenna Creek surges. These two parks are forested with different native trees including Bigleaf Maple, Western Hemlock and Coast Douglas-fir. Ravenna Park is a half-mile wooded narrow valley connecting two picnic areas north of the University District and is a considered a popular spot picnics as well as for hiking and jogging.
